Superb hotel

The place is near korcyki tram station. At the centre of shops and restaurants. Safe to go around even in the evening. HUMAY, the staff in reception is really helpful that makes our check in smooth. She guides us on how to get to places. The room is clean, super comfortable bed and pillows. Enough size for the 3 of us. Delicious breakfast which is included when I booked this hotel. All staff are polite and accomodating. They make sure that all our querries are answered. I will recommend this hotel to whoever is visiting Istanbul Turkey.

Room was amazing!

The family room was excellent and really beautiful. 3 twin beds and one king. Room had a refrigerator, safe, great AC and really nice washroom amenities. The room was absolutely fantastic. High ceilings and made me feel like a king. Only complaint is that there is quite a bit of street noise. Otherwise the hotel itself has spiral staircase, tiny elevator. Breakfast was ok. Nothing absolutely amazing but I think it was very traditional and not my type. They had everything including pastries and scrambled eggs, etc.

Great location, but bring earplugs

Positives: The hotel location is perfect, within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, the major mosques and Top Kapi Palace, and from Eminonu pier for boat trips. You can also walk across the Galata bridge to get to Galata very easily, or take the tram. Great location. It’s also very clean, can’t fault that, and the staff in general are very helpful. Can, who was on the front desk during the day was very friendly, had some funny stories and was willing to help us with anything, we really appreciated him. The breakfast is ample to start your day, and if you want hot options, they cost a little extra, but nothing more than you would pay outside the hotel. We had a double room, and it was spacious and the bed was comfy. Negatives: The hotel could do with a little updating. Not too much that it loses its charm, but just a little like a deep clean of the carpets (or new carpets), and adding more storage space and shelves in the rooms. It is also very noisy. We didn’t mind the traffic noise after the first night (Istanbul is alive 24/7, so expect traffic noise at all hours of the day if you’re in the old town), but the rooms are apparently soundproof, and I can tell you, they are not. We were woken up every night by a group of ladies staying down the corridor coming back late and shouting and banging doors every night. To be fair to the hotel staff, after we told them about it, they did stop them. Overall, good stay, great value for money, and very convenient.

Everything was fine. Everything is close by such as tram, metro, veryboot etc. The restaurant under and the Balkan restaurant opposite are good. In short: the price-quality ratio is good. Please note that they also have rooms without windows.

Older hotel but in great condition. Middle of all sightseeing and wonderful restaurants, easy walking distance. Safe, very clean. Only problem in the bathroom it was no floor rug tostep out if the shower, wgere actually the water was standing. It flooded while taking longer shower. Towels are pretty thick little rough.

We were not given the room upgrade we had paid for and had a rude male at front desk who was argumentative and mocked us, even when we showed the room photos on Expedia vs room given. We were lied to multiple times by this employee, as well as female named Humaya who openly mocked guests. The location of hotel is walkable to the big sites, which was the one positive. The hotel decor is VERY outdated, the lights in hallways and staircase are off 24/7, which is security concern. Beds were rock hard and the breakfast buffet was inedible, not replenished and had food laid out from prior day for multiple days in row. We travel often and have never had an experience so negative at a hotel before. The front desk staff really tarnished our experience staying at this hotel and we would never recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that looked a lot better at the same price range.

We booked for 1 night what it was supposed to be the best room of the hotel and went there. The staff was really helpful in assisting us to find a car parking but with no success. Went in the room and did check out within 10 minutes. As we enter the room we saw the old moquette that needs to be removed ASAP from the room. Went in the toilet and saw that the WC was not appropriately cleaned. DISGUSTING. On the sink we found hairs and again DISGUSTING. Advice: Don't make not refundable booking. Check before
