Loved the easy access to the beach. I didn’t love the bell hops. If you weren’t using them, they had to respect for other people walking throughout the hotel. I mean in narrow walkways they rammed those carts, leaving little to know place to walk.

Our room was clean and, when requested, housekeeping cleaned again. Lots of amenities including a stove and dishwasher. The staff was very responsive with extra towels, compensating for food that was accidentally thrown out by housekeeping, and early check-in. The bedding, however, was less than desirable: pillows were lumpy and the comforter “covering” came apart easily. The showerhead needed to be updated as many of the tiny holes were clogged. I would definitely stay there again.

This is my second time staying at the Princess Royale. The rooms are clean, the property is maintained and they are conveniently located with a great indoor pool deck and direct access to the beach! The staff was very friendly and helpful, even as they were getting ready for their busy season. There is plenty still to do in OC and at the Princess Royale during springtime.
