I had low expectations of the hotel since the nightly raw is pretty low, when not including Splash Lagoon. The hotel was definitely better than expected though, the rooms (we had 2 different rooms for the 2 night stay.. long story) were modern, clean and had a lot of amenities. Im not used to hotel rooms having a whole kitchen! That was great. The staff was awesome. We were checked in by Ms Deeds, she made my day. So upbeat and helpful. Compliment sandwich here……. Our first room had a super noisy furnace/ac that drove us insane. We just turned off the unit completely and dealt with the heat. Both rooms had some weird wear and tear, like melted spots here and there, obviously repaired broken shower surround… makes me wonder what the heck people do in hotel rooms. The pool was nice, especially when not crowded. Pool towels are provided at the front desk! Woo! Lots of good stuff in the area too, like shopping and restaurants.
