Where do I begin?!? Check in was smooth. I had a room reserved from Tuesday-Friday. For some reason the guy at the desk only programmed our key cards for one day so the next day after the 11am checkout it stopped working, so I had to go to the desk and get new keys. Ended up getting 3 new keys during our stay. Once we entered the rooom on the backside of the building with the ocean view, I immediately noticed that there was sand ALL over the floors. As we moved through the room we noticed that there was only 1 small trash can, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, the tv remote didn’t work properly, the shampoo and body wash in the shower was empty, the soap by the sink was empty, only 3 towel sets with a reservation for 4, the toilet rocked back and forth, the phone was sticky, the plug in by the sink didn’t work, overall it was very disappointing.
That was just the room!
The people that hang around the place are Sus at the very least. What I witnessed just coming back from the beach was crazy. There was a man pulling a woman’s arm back to his room. She was pulling away from him, but he was twisting it and forcing her. I saw the lady a few times trying to leave the room, but the man kept sprinting back and forth at all hours of the day and night to make sure she didn’t leave. I asked if she was ok, but she was too terrified to answer. He told me to mind my own business. Can’t believe I had to pay to stay there with my fam and feel unsafe the whole time. Refund?
