Decent room. However just a flat sheet on the double beds was not ideal as the sheet moves and you end up on the bare mattress. Outside the hotel is not nice. Service is poor.

Booked this stay for a one night stay. We showed up at the building to find the gate locked, no lights, and no one present. This is not a hotel! There are no check in instructions! We reached out to the property. Immediately thereafter we received an automated email response to reach out to Expedia support because we would not be let into the property. We were left stranded without a place to stay as everything was booked up. Beware! Do not recommend!

My adult daughter and I stayed at Maison Tonina and it was the perfect get-away. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the rooms and common areas are absolutely charming. The walls are so thick that even though there was no vacancy during our stay, we didn't hear a peep from the other guests. The balcony and air conditioning (worked great!) were nice to come back to after a day out in the sun. There is no breakfast served — only 24 hour coffee and tea. (I mention this because the photo of a dining room might give the wrong impression.) We did not want to be in the city center and this location in Sant'Agnello was the quiet get-away were looking for — just a bus stop or quick cab ride to Sorrento. There is a sidewalk restaurant up the street from Maison Tonina called Lapillo — easy-going and delicious. We also enjoyed a long lunch and beautiful views at Terrazza Mediterraneo Italian Bistro down the street. The beach is right near the Bistro. Very walkable! Be aware that the free part of the beach has no sand, just a dock. The part with the actual beach requires an admission fee and is more expensive on the weekends. ($50 for an umbrella and two chairs) I feel lucky to have found this wonderful hide-away!

The room was new and very clean. The room has been remodeled to contain all the modern state of the art conveniences you could ever want or need. Beautiful decor. Note: The dining room table could have been a bit smaller for the breakfast room size.
