It was an okay place to stay for one night. The only thing is when we got there no one was at the desk and the same thing when we tried to check out, so we just left the key cards on the desk. Room was a good size with a really good view of the lake. It is near a busy road so it is kind of hard to sleep, as well as the dripping on the shower and all the other noises in the room I found it really overstimulating.

The room was clean. The property was centrally located and very affordable. I stayed during the off-season and the entire place to myself. The hotel offers beautiful views of Winnisquam Lake. It was great to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning.

Good news: 1.Less expensive than the chain Hotels during peak summer season 2.New rugs, new bathroom, comfortable bed, self-serve breakfast included, fridge in room. 3.A/c and fan/heat were in good working order 4. Nice view of the lake Needs Improvement: 1. Limited areas to place luggage on 2. Needs a small table and two chairs to sit at 3. Needs shelving in the bathroom to put personal items on - no room at all for this 5. NO screens in windows- Very dangerous if children with us 6. Towels were VERY small and flimsy & one looked permanently stained before we used it! -Needs to upgrade to Large, new, clean, fluffy towels 7.Needs a rack in shower to hold items 8.LIMITED directions for self preparing breakfast- Waffles were a mess. Also need caps for coffee cups-someone will get burned or spill it on their way back to their room! 9.DECEIVING photo and lake expectations: Hotel is NOT directly on the lake, even though the photo shows it as such. There were NO lounge chairs on a deck on the lake, as the photo shows. We could only access the lake while wearing a lanyard and going across a busy highway while dragging our beach chairs, etc with us. We also ONLY go to the lake during certain times and access the lanyard after 11am. 10. NO staff at the desk after 9pm or until 11am! This is not functional for most guests.
