Nice location and rooms, staff were great
Tony, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

What a little gem of a property. Despite being above a pub, and on a through road of the village, it’s very quiet. Wonderfully clean, and the self serve continental breakfast buffet is well stocked. Great place.
Simon, 1-night trip

A diamond in the rough, quiet village with a hidden gem. Great staff with accessible dining and pub. Would recommend to anyone who wants an out of the way stay.

Second time staying here due to work. I've driven an hour from a job just to stay here again as I knew what to expect. Top hotel, great food, and staff just make the stay worth while.

Excellent stay

Lovely room, really nice bathroom fit out. Excellent quality tea, coffee, orange juice etc in the room. Nice variety of self serve breakfast to get when you want. Room was quite loud above the pub until it closed at 11 at night. Overall lovely stay and great value.

10/10 Excellent

Loved staying here - if i had any complint it would be the thin walls in my room; could hear snoring from next door. Lovely bar and staff. The restaurant menu was impressive and the food amazing. The staff were so lovely, polite and friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Staff very friendly, food well worth eating there. The room was very comfortable but mind your head as one of the beams were quite low.

8/10 Good

Great staff, lovely food and superb accommodation. My only negative point is I could hear the person in the room next door snoring, not a lot the staff could about that, but bring your ear plugs.
Robert, 1-night trip

A perfect English experience. Fun pub, good food and the perfect room upstairs, with a nice en suite bathroom.

Hidden Gem

A fantastic stay, we were away for a netball tournament so me and my daughter stayed here. Help yourself breakfast was a great start to the day with muffins, pasteries and croissants it was like our own little flat and the bathroom/shower was amazing. Will be back same time next year
Katie, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Lovely staff, very comfortable room....only knocked a star off because the walls are very thin....luckily the couple next door didnt fancy getting amorous!! 🙉 Otherwise, couldnt fault it
Sammi, 1-night trip

Fab family run pub

A family run pub with rooms. The room was nicely decorated with a good shower room. The restaurant was well presented with a good selection of ales. Food was alright. Breakfast was a surprise as I had to collect it the night before from a buffet selection of items in the corridor and store in the room fridge until the morning which I ate in the room. This didn't put me off and I would consider returning if in the area but would find a local cafe for breakfast. No AC so maybe I would choose the season.
Katsu curry.. Lacks flavour

Nice Room above pub but hadn’t been cleaned in I’m not sure how long. Carpet needed a good hoover. Disappointed given price for one night.
