Hotel was clean, service was very good and conveniently located for transport and close to some decent breakfast and dinner options as well as a 711. we used the courtesy bus to Golden temple and bamboo forest which was a bonus

The room was nicely spacious compared to others and luckily had a laundry room on bottom floor, which was busy but did help when I needed to run a load due to weather soaking me. Location was great as it was already close to 2 attractions in Kyoto and near the station to get anywhere else and had a wonderful service to shuttle over to the bamboo forest which was much better than looping around on the subways. also about 2 doors down was a Kyoto Coop which had food and drinks i could pick up as i leave/came back from a long day. to note i am 6 foot 8 inches or 2meters and the bathroom and bed length were good enough for me which was a plus.

A nice boutique hotel in Kyoto.

Nice boutique hotel, clean and friendly staff. 4 minutes walk to karasuma line (north/south) station, and 9 minutes walk to Tozai line (west/east) station. Taxi to Kyoto station is around 12 minutes and 1500 yen. However, the neighborhood is quiet in the evening, not for shopping or dining… The hotel provides free shuttle service to Kinkakujicho-Ji temple (morning) and Arashiyama (afternoon) is a plus, if they are on your visit list. Furthermore, The school bus baker cafe is only 3 minutes walk away from the hotel, they provide very nice quality of bread.

Best location. Right next to the subway station and walking distance to Shinjuku station and center I’d Shinjuku. The only complaint is the room size, which is kind of small, but this is probably common for Japanese hotels. Overall a great stay.
