We came to Hood River for 5days; as adult family members, stayed at this lovely place to celebrate an anniversary and tour local wineries. The home was very clean, every thing we needed was there, or we just sent a message to the contact and they would deliver it to us. We were able to use the excellent kitchen to prepare all our breakfast, and ate almost every dinner here by choice. Except for the fact that the original listing stated that there was a BBQ grill, when we arrived there was not, they said in response to an inquiry that they didn’t have one listed. The driveway is very steep, slightly curved & shared with the neighbors, but doable. Just as an aside some of the homes decorations might take some people a bit aback, in one bedroom or the downstairs powder room, otherwise it was very nicely decorated and comfortable.

Great home-away-from-home property. It suited our family, 4 adults and 2 children, quite nicely. The only slight drawback is that the driveway is quite steep, so it is a little difficult to navigate for an older person, such as myself. I would also recommend that ceiling fans be added to the two smaller bedrooms and that the screen in one of the bedrooms be replaced for safety reasons. In addition, carpet nails slightly protruded in front of the smaller upstairs bedroom. A/C worked great, as were there during a very warm week and we were glad to have it! Overall, I would recommend this very comfortable property. Oh yes, maintenance was johnny on the spot when we reported the smoke detector was in need of a new battery. We had an excellent experience staying at this property. :)
