Over Priced and not Maintained

We decided to stay at Embassy Suites for a long weekend. The hotel was under construction and we were not informed about the construction until we were checking in. The construction noise was very high during the day making it impossible to relax. Parking here is very expensive. It was $26.00 a day for self parking. The parking garage was very hard to get in and out of. The garage made me uncomfortable. It was dark, damp and did not feel structurally sound. We requested a room with a balcony, and the balcony was so small it was hardly suitable to sit on. Two chairs barely fit on it and the area around the balconies was over run by birds. The birds had pooped everywhere. The entire pool deck has not been cleaned in a long time. It really needs to be power washed. Our room was over run with ants. The hotel is very old and run down. It should probably be shut down to be properly renovated and reopened. It was definitely not worth the price we paid.

Less than just ok..

This is really just an average hotel stay. I’m convinced they call it a resort so they can add on a resort fee. When we went to check in they said our room wasn’t ready, which it was 4 pm so why wasn’t our room we reserved ready? They ended up changing our room and placing us on the side where major construction was going on. I believe while you’re booking or even after you book, a hotel should update you on the construction. So from 9 am to 5 pm for the entire week we were there, a jack hammer like sound was right about our room, so we had to stay clear of our room all day. If you’re a napper or have small children this won’t work for you. The breakfast is included which honestly that was fine, but would not recommend eating lunch or dinner at the hotel. The prices are higher than fancy restaurants and the food was subpar. They have a happy hour that’s included but it only includes well drinks and bud light, anything else you might want has an up charge. Lastly when walking to the beach to lay out everyday there is a man who owns his business (not associated with the hotel) who lays the chairs out for you. It’s actually a public beach, so again why is this a “resort”. And he only has 25 chairs a day. It’s a small beach so there’s not much room to do anything unless you walk to the actual Deerfield beach. I don’t know. For the money we paid we were better off doing an all inclusive and having a luxurious time. Oh I also remembered. The pool and hot tub cleanliness. 0/10.

Home away from home

We love this hotel. It has everything you need. The rooms are really spacious and have a bath tub which is rare these days in hotels. Me and my little boy stayed just the one night but it felt like a proper little holiday

Queensryche and Tesla

Hotel is going through a renovation. Our room had some issues yet they were able to be lived with ( leaking pipe in master tub, leaking ceiling into master sink, and warm water not hot). Nice view, pool size is small for number of guests, to few of lounge chairs as well.

Five star stay in Deerfield!

Wonderful stay!! Upgraded to a suite on 7th floor, top floor, to a king suite with a wrap around Juliet balcony overlooking the gorgeous ocean out front and pool as well. Had the best nights sleep to the sound of the ocean waves on the most comfortable bed. Was so nice and quiet in our corner room. Included was a full breakfast with a custom omelette station as well as a nice selection of other breakfast foods. Good strong coffee. Great dinner night before in their beachside Resteraunt. Nothing fancy. Sat at the bar. Bartender super friendly and had a great hamburger and flatbread pizza. Gorgeous beach across street and lovely pool on site. Can’t say enough and can’t wait to go back!!!! Really wonderful stay!

Balcony not usable

I booked this hotel for the ocean front corner balcony with the intentions of sitting on the balcany every morning and watching the sunrise with the sound of the ocean. We could not open the doors from our room to the balcony because they had them locked shut. Very disappointed we could not use the balcony at all. If I would have know that the balcony was not going to be usable to us I would have booked a different room and not spent this much money on the room. I understand they were painting the outside of the building, just very disappointed that nothing was said about not being able to use the balcony when I booked the room. I spent the extra money on this room for my wife and I to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and beautiful sunrise. Very upset that we were not able to have that on our getaway few days.

The only elevator took 30 minutes to operate…. You had to pay for parking which was not mentioned initially, the clogged sink and shower took an entire day to be resolved, the construction noise was horrible and breakfast only starts 7:30am on weekends
