Our initial room was covered in mystery hair. It was all over the sheets, in the floor and dressers. We brought this up to staff and immediately we were able to get a new room, no questions asked which was fantastic. The new room did not have many issues, there was just a foul smell coming from surrounding rooms that made its way into ours. It was not very soundproof either, we could hear neighboring rooms and their TVs, as well as cars revving their engines late at night

The laundry service was a coin operated washer and dryer with no change machine or detergent sales. The wifi kinda sucks. Bad. The staff are okay. They don't bother you and they're understanding if you're late to pay. No ethernet, tv is outdated but overall 6.5/10; 7.5/11

I come here once a year for work and always stay here and it’s usually a good stay but this time it was subar, the tv did not work Saturday afternoon/evening and we were told it was the weather, it was just raining, there was no luggage rack or table so we had to put everything on the floor, the plug/charging block that is usually in the nightstand was missing so we have to move it just to get to the plug behind it. But during check in the man at th desk was very nice and moved us to a downstairs room I just think the upkeep of the hotel is getting away from them so I’ll probabaly find different accommodations from now on

This is my third time staying here and I will always recommend it. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We had one issue with noise and the staff resolved it immediately. This is the best place to stay with close proximity to anything you’d want to visit in Charleston. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again! The staff was also super welcoming and friendly! I had a very pleasant stay at Red Roof Inn Mount Pleasant. The location is excellent—convenient to shopping, dining, and just a short drive to downtown Charleston and local beaches. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating from check-in through check-out. I especially appreciated how quiet and safe the property felt, which is not always easy to find when traveling. For the price point, this Red Roof Inn exceeded expectations. It offers great value, comfort, and convenience, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Mount Pleasant or Charleston area.
