I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, Lisa at the front desk was great, upon check in I was told breakfast was served until 10am, however when I went to breakfast the next morning at 9am the food was basically gone, asked the restaurant staff and was told there was no more food, I checked my watch again and yes it was 9am!

This hotel is 3 stars for a reason. It looks run down. It feels run down. The rooms were clean and good enough but it just felt old and dingy. The sprinkle pipes were painted orange and running through the hallway and into the bathroom of the rooms. It looks really ghetto. The breakfast was on the second floor which seemed odd but it was a nice enough service. The hotel just felt old and broken down but honestly the rooms were fine. The heating/cooling system worked. The beds were comfortable enough.

Good but

It was a good hotel about 20min from Foxwoods. The walls are thin. The first night was good. The second night was rough there was teens making a lot of noise connected right next our room. I don’t have a problem with kids I work with them daily but we went away for a nice relaxing vacation. They were slamming doors talking loud and running down the hall to each other’s rooms. We called the front desk to find out it’s a baseball team and there were already other noise complaints. Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am. Finally at some point after 11pm it was quiet. Then at about 6:30am I am woken up by loud noises, talking, laughing, running and slamming doors. I’m not understanding why the adults that were with them didn’t take better control and understanding that others may be still trying to sleep in. SMH

Hotel was great. Great location and friendly staff. Room had a comfy bed and good AC. The breakfast bagel bar was nice and 24/7 coffee (with non dairy options). I did not like the connecting rooms as I could hear the room next door and vice versa. I would stay here again.

Do Better

The fromt worker was very helpful and pleasant that’s about the only positive from our stay. Your hotel is run down and the rooms are musty. The coffee in the 24 hour service area at 5am was from the day prior. Considering many were booking rooms to run the mystic half marathon that began at 7am, there should have been a fresh pot. The ceiling was too thin and the walls shook every time the person above us walked on the floor. This is a$100.00 a night room at most so to be charged almost $300.00 is outrageous for this low level of quality.

A comfortable clean alternative option for travel.

Two words ‘community microwave’. A nice clean safe budget oriented property with clean bathrooms, linens, extremely polite and helpful staff and a nice little tourist area. A very budget minded option for family and business travelers.. Disappointed with the lack of microwave and coffee maker in the rooms like most hotels provide today but they have a lovely little breakfast bar every morning and 24 hour hot beverages available. I think this is nice as you can get for the money and when traveling for business, we will stay here again..

Everything was great. I did find it strange that I could not watch channel 7 (ABC) in my room, only in the breakfast room. Lots of slamming doors at. 6:30 in the morning was annoying but not the hotels fault.

Beware of the dog fee!

I’m traveling with a small dog. Most places charge a pet fee of $25 a night. It’s $75 here!! I was tempted to ask if he gets his own room, but I worried there might be an additional $50 fee for sarcasm.
