I’ll just be direct here….we paid 250 a night for what was supposed to be a “ premium” external balcony room. We did have an exterior balcony, but the room was dirty and very dated. I always try to stay at IHG properties because they are usually clean and nice..and those have been the 3-star ones that were great. This was labeled as a 4-star hotel, and I was hoping to treat my husband for a weekend in STL for our 32nd anniversary, but it didn’t turn out to be so great. Bed was very uncomfortable, wallpaper bubbling, chair arms were filthy. I took pictures because I just couldn’t believe this should pass as a 4-star hotel. Also, Keisha at the front desk could use some re-training in customer service. She was extremely rude. I am sure she has a thankless job dealing with customers, but if I hadn’t already reserved the room, I probably would have just left. Very disappointed in my latest IHG stay. I know IHG can do better.
