quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value.

I was in room 314 first (the outside noise was bad, as if the windows were open), moved to 223 after and unfortunately it wasn't great either (outside noise ok, people slamming doors until early in the morning, our door was shaking every time, the TV kept making loud cracking noises all night - whilst being off, toilet wasn't properly clean - I can see either pee or spray splashes still on it, bathroom walls had hairs stuck, shower drain was very slow and the shower tap was leaking, stains on the carpets inside the room and cold in the room - the heater was very low power and no additional electric heaters available, cracked walls and full on spider cob above on the ceiling).Apart from that, internet was ok, the staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast: I wouldn't have it again (English breakfast with no tomatoes or mushrooms available...just beans, eggs, bacon and sausages).

Room was clean staff were friendly. It was nice to be able to grab a tea or coffee in the lobby at any time. The location is excellent to hit the town Breakfast was ok, there was plenty of choice but the fact that the bacon, eggs, sausages etc were kept in warming pots after cooking made them not 'nice' i expect if we had got up earlier it would have been fresher. Would suggest more frequent rotation of the cooked elements would improve the quality and make it much more enjoyable Would stay here again

When we arrived on the Sunday the staff couldn't be less helpful. I am a member at IHG and the first time we stayed here the receptionist made you feel very welcome but not this time. Different receptionist I should add. We arrived before check-in but were told no rooms were available which wasn't a problem and we were told point blank nothing until 2pm. Members don't get early check-in apparently, only 'Elite members'. When we returned we were issued our room which was fine except for only being able to access half a dozen channels on the tv. A member of staff offered to sort this out for us and came up to our room scanned a few channels on the remote and said sorry I can't help it's locked??? They did offer to change our room but we didn't want to wait around until 2pm the next day. When we asked if someone could sort out the remote the next morning we were told there was no-one onsite and that we had picked the worst week to book??? On the plus side the cleaning staff were great and the 2 guys on duty on Monday morning were much better and we couldn't fault them. We have been offered a discount which is very good of them but sadly we won't stay here again
