Great hotel to stay in if you're in Altavista or need a place to stay overnight on a road trip. The breakfast has good options...eggs, sausage or bacon, breakfast sandwich, yogurt, toast, biscuits, muffins, danishes, waffle maker, coffee with plain, vanilla or hazelnut creamers...can you tell a good breakfast is important to me!??!?!
The room itself is no frills, but the flooring is nice! Not carpet with stains, but a nice kind of engineered wood hybrid with a dark stain finish. The bathroom had nice smooth tile flooring...everything felt clean and spic and span! The bed and pillows were comfortable and I was able to get a good night's sleep both nights we stayed there.
All of the staff were excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one.
All-in-all, this is a great option for staying in Altavista. Really helped to be close to my dad while visiting him in Autumn Care of Altavista...an excellent nursing home option if needed for your loved one.
