This comfortable clean Hotel was made even more pleasant by the friendly and very helpful reception staff. Herda answered all our questions about the area including restaurant recommendations and local activities. It is a great location being within easy walking distance of the central squares, parks, high end shopping and next door to the Botanical Garden. It is also an easy walk to the central train station and quite close to the ferry terminals. I definitely can recommend Hotel Arthur for your next stay in Helsinki.

The Arthur Hotel is an excellent hotel located in the heart of Helsinki. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is older but well kept up. They have a nice buffet breakfast which is included in their rates. The hotel's location is very good as well. Its a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk from the waterfront/market area. It is also located next to a big park which is excellent for jogging and walking. The park connects to the 1952 Olympic Games site. So overall, this is a very nice hotel, in a very good location and I highly recommend it.

I stayed here for a conference. It’s right by the station, so you can easily get to the venue. There are also many shopping places nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and I never got tired of eating it every day. The room was clean, and I hardly noticed any noise from other rooms.
