Downtown location with parking was appreciated. Even though they claim to be undergoing a renovation, the finishing were already top-notch and the property felt quite luxurious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the furniture in is dated and you can see that the hotel has not invested enough to bring it up to date. Also the cleaning should improve, especially in the bathroom. We expect more from a 4 star hotel for about 200€ per night.

Nice place and amazing staff!

Nice hotel in the center of town. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. We arrived late and the front desk clerk quickly reserved us a table in the restaurant so we could get dinner before the restaurant closed. The food was delicious in the dining room and the full breakfast was tasty as well. The hotel is hard to spot when you’re driving through town. Once we found it we were very impressed.

A hidden gem

Fantastic hotel from the outside its very decieving. A real tardus inside. Very clean, all staff from reception, to restaurant, to breakfast were excellent. Excellent size room and very clean. The only constructive comment would be that the ensuites and bedrooms, landings etc could be updated, but that wouldn't put me off coming back.

Historic Hotel with Good Amenities

This was a good option for staying outside of Cork without being too far away for a drive into the city. The hotel was a little hard to find -they could stand to improve their signage. Parking was readily available once you knew where it was at, which was great. The hotel is large, but be forewarned, they do hold events there and there was a loud party that lasted into the wee hours one of the nights we were there. The room was HUGE by European standards - as an American I was quite comfortable.

I had booked 4 nights for a business trip but had to leave 2 nights early was told but the receptionist I would have to contact Expedia about refund and when spoke with Expedia they said hotel had refused to refund at least one nights stay , room wise was big and bed was ok restaurant was good and breakfast was good

Great location and the staff is incredibly friendly and will do what it takes to make your stay enjoyable. Several options included in the free breakfast. Beds were comfortable with ample pillows. We didn't have great wifi in our rooms, but didn't report it, so I wouldn't have expected them to do anything about it without knowing about our issue. Also wish they had a hot tub. Grateful for the availability of parking, but there are alot of people that use the amenities of the hotel (pool mainly, I assume), so it gets a little crowded at times, but we always found a spot. Overall, I would gladly stay there if I'm ever in the area again!

Overall our stay was fairly satisfactory. Room just fair. Food excellent. We had prepaid for our accommodation so we were very disappointed & annoyed when on checking out we were presented with another bill for our stay.. Also, the staff member noted that we’d been celebrating both my husband’s & my birthdays- a bit late to notice this when we were leaving. It would have been nice for this to have been recognised with some token during our stay. Overall a bit disappointed with our stay. More attention to detail needed.
