Hotel heaven

My bed was comfy, my room was clean and the pool was refreshing. We stay here everytime we come to town and will continue to do so. Its quiet at night and safe to walk around.

The staff was really nice but the room was very poor. A hole was in the ceiling and sheet rock or some type of saw dust falling from the ceiling. The tub had a dirt ring around it was truly nasty. I would love my entire money back for both days I stayed in that room.

No iaauws at all. I requested first floor room and was accomadated. Everything was clwaned up from the hurricanes with bormal operarion. Room was clean and updated. Staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

It took forever to find the property. The sign had blown down in the storm almost a month ago and not even a temporary sign was up. And google maps wasn’t that great in getting you to the right place. The biggest issue was the man who checked me in. I needed to put the room on my business account and therefore change the card to pay for it. He said he couldn’t do that. It was really that he didn’t want to be bothered to do it. Every place else I stayed at on this trip had no issues doing that. And he had an attitude even when I asked him.

Horrible experience

I spoke with a staff member three times informing them my daughter (who was trying to evacuate Florida) would be a day late. Reservation was paid in full for three days. My daughter called as she was driving to the motel 6 to say she was on her way and was informed “the computer had cancelled her reservation”. I called the facility at that point and was told by the staff member she had no control over anything because the reservation was through Hotels.com. This whole experience was horrendous, left my daughter at risk and the staff took no personal responsibility in spite of the impending category 5 hurricane. I will not be using Hotels.com in the future and will make sure this experience is posted on Social media.

This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I'm not one of those people that judge a motel 6 like it should be the ritz either. We booked two rooms for my son and son in law while they were in the area doing storm cleanup. It was the only hotel available (that should have been the first clue). They got in late from work. One room was fine. It was clean and had no issues at all. The other room however, had not been cleaned at all! There were dirty towels in the bathroom, trash in the trash cans, the sheets were on inside out, the covers toddler around. They went down and asked to be moved to another room. The manager told them basically, we've got your money and there's nothing you can do. We're not moving you. They asked if they could send someone to clean the room. He told them no. My son called me and asked what to do. I chatted with Expedia, got the most helpful gentleman. He called the hotel and told them if they didn't make it right, Expedia would give us our money back and they wouldn't get a cent! Only after that phone call, they agreed to send house keeping up to clean the room. If Expedia hadn't called them, they intended to do nothing about the room. I would not stay here if this were the last hotel in Georgia! I would rather sleep in my car at a rest stop!

Drugs,bed bugs, and roaches

This is the most disgusting place I have ever encountered. Drugs, dirt, bed bugs, and roaches..refused refund because they said since housekeeping didn't find it..housekeeping obviously didn't find the dirt, hairs, and roaches everywhere either. We we in the room less than minutes. This is not a safe place to stay. Didn't get pics of everything just wanted to get out fast.

Shocked

We normally stay away from motel 6 of similar hotel’s but it was all available. This location was clean by a bunch of rift raft hanging out in the parking lot. Definitely shocked us with how clean it was and friendly staff. we ended up Staying two night instead of the one night. If they would put coffee pots in the room that would be great.

Check in took forever. Communication was poor. The tv in the room didn’t work. They sent someone to fix it twice. The third time they reluctantly gave me a different room but the AC was weak in that room. Ice machine didn’t work. Rooms were clean but that’s the only good thing.

Stayed 1 night in room 135 was made to move to room 137. Both of these were supposed to be ADA approved last room had no chairs to sit, the fridge defrosted the 1st night in rm 137. When I took my shower therewas handrails and a bencin the rollin shower. As i stood holding the rails i lost my footings and landed on my back. As im disabled and have limited mobility i needed the Handicap shower There was no slip protection in the shower Had to have EMS , along wih fire department. And taken to hospital Upon checking out i was asked "how was your stay".My reply was it would haa e better had not the rescue and fire truck didn't ha eto pickwd when i fell and she said Sorr a right here there. Yeah, I got 8. I'm fixed out, gets just aint dope that I'll get stuff out right there. You go s***, s***, s***, s***, s***, hmm, hmm? No, that hmm, if you only got a peek over there.
