Stayed one night. Property looked old and when we requested the second floor we were told that they didn't have an elevator. The air conditioner cover fell off when we opened the door to the unit. It looked like the property hadn't been maintained well. Breakfast was good. The staff worked hard to keep the buffet stocked.

Paid for 2 kings..upon arrival the hotel does not offer this option. We opted for 2 queens, which was ok. More upset that i was charged extra!

The room and hallways were clean, but the outside of the property were really in bad shape. Weeds growing up everywhere, the sidewalks looked liked they hadn't been swept or power-washed in a long time. The parking lot was in rough shape. The tall picket fence at the end of the building needs some work and repainting. I had stayed at this location a few years ago and it was in much better shape then.

It was good except when we went to go to the pool maintenance was there and we couldn’t swim. Which was weird since the first room we were in tv didn’t work and front desk said maintenance wasn’t available we changed rooms and I asked if pool was good they said yea then went and it wasn’t accessible.

We had a good stay. I booked here to surprise my hubby because he likes the idea of ghost hunting but can be anxious about it in reality. I heard they recently had some renovations so I thought it might lose its vintage appeal. On the contrary, the upgrades still felt true to the Victorian charm. The room was nice and clean. The high ceiling captures your attention immediately. The tv sat on a dark hard wood dresser. Next to the bed was a matching dark wood table and chair which both gave the vibe that we were still in the late 1800s. Yet we still had the modern amenities of a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The bed was very high which is fine but the was much too firm for my comfort. I woke up feeling like I had rocks in my back. As for the downside the hotel elevator was broken so we had to take our heavy bags and camera equipment up and down the stairs. Which wasn’t too bad but if you have mobility issues you’ll want to contact in advance and make sure you can get a room on the 1st level. We didn’t eat in the dining room or have a drink at the bar. We just looked around the hotel and plaza. They have pictures next to each room showing different famous people that have stayed there from actors to politicians. It was beautiful all the way around. To my disappointment we didn’t have any ghostly encounters the entire time but that is a plus in my hubby’s eyes. Overall we liked it and I would recommend this to be a good stop if you’re passing through.

Clean, comfortable room. Can't rate breakfast because we left very early to continue trip. The only warning we have for future guests, is that I-25 is very close. The window of our room faced the highway, and the air brakes of passing semi trucks was very noticeable throughout the night.

In our room, there was a dirty diaper that was left and there was dirty ice bucket with leftover ice water. The second floor was a non-smoke but the room still smelled like smoke and then there’s no elevators. Then the electronics the TVs either they didn’t have a control in the room or they didn’t turn on at all. The lamps in some of the rooms did not turn on. You only had like one or two lamps. the lights of the room didn’t turn on. The outlets in between the two beds did not work.
