Hotel itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Self parking is $20 a night. Bottled water in room is $4. Our room was spacious and adequate for the one night.
My interaction with 4 different members of staff wasn't anything spectacular (front desk and bar). The young woman at check in seemed like she didn't want to be there. She wasn't rude, just completely disinterested. I expected a better reception. I asked if they had coffee available and was told the bar served coffee. Went to the bar and was told that she would have to brew an entire pot, which she was not going to do, so I had to settle for the coffee in the room. Interaction with the older woman at front desk later that evening and the man at check out the next morning was the same. They weren't rude, just again, completely disinterested and lacking any sort of personality. I have worked in the service industry a good part of my life, and I get how exhausting it can be. I am never rude in return, I just know where I will and will not spend my money. I normally stay at a Marriott or Hilton, and will continue to do so in the future.
