Quiet and relaxing onsen inn, an economic choice as well. A short walk up from a bus stop, with a lovely view of the lake. Great for a relaxing get away.

The room was spotless and the staff , and especially a young woman there (Shirona?); was especially helpful. The area the hotel is situated in is awesome and next to public transportation. The onset was nice too! Thank you!

As expected. Be aware that this is relatively far from Nikko and there are very limited food options around. The Japanese breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating.

I was surprised that the room had no private bathroom but had to be shared with the onsen at the hotel.
Despite this surprise we had an Amazing stay and the employees were so helpfuld and kind
- note that tre hotel is far from restaurants and the city and breakfast and dinner needs to be booked in advance

Peaceful lake, quiet area, nice overall room. You can get there by bus, but it's coming once per hour and it doesn't run too late. The onsen had the sulphur smell (rotten egg), but it's the natural spring "flavor". Breakfast was specific japanese, though not really to our liking (no fault of the hotel)

Lots of insects in the room. No view of the lake whatsoever. Pillow is too soft and too thin. Too expensive for this standard of hotel.

Good:
-Nice location, right beside Lake Nikko
-Looks nice
-Friendly staff
Bad:
-no attached showers
-hotel is a bit old
-restaurant doesn't serve walk-in diners (you need to book with meals or make requests in advance)
Overall, nice little hotel in a really scenic area. It's lacking on the amenities side which makes it less value for money but overall from my drives around the area look like one of the better options. However I personally would not go back during a cold season as some parts of the walkways don't seem to be heated and it's really cold when you walk over to the common showers (no attached room showers).

Cadre tres agreable. Personnel serviable et accueillant. Bain a recommander!
