Check-in, checkout, and the stay itself went smoothly. The newly renovated room was quiet and very clean, neighbors were reasonable, A/C worked well. Breakfast was decent: milk, juice, coffee, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, yogurt, toast, waffles, and bananas. The staff was reasonable, but not warm. No real engagement (greeting or send-off) with guests. Some minor annoyances in the room: The bathroom had a barn door that was difficult to keep closed, and didn't help much with sound. The toilet ran intermittently. There wasn't room for a toilet paper roll holder, so rolls sat on the top of the toilet. The shower curtain needed to be longer to avoid water splashing on the floor when showering. No closet, just some hooks on the wall. Overall, a fine place to stay in Corpus Christi, especially since it is 15 minutes from the major sites.
