It's false advertising; they made me look stupid. I paid for a room, arrived two hours early (I was traveling), and the photos on the website are fake. They gave my room to someone else.

Great location in FrQtr. But the age of the hotel and rooms is catching up to it. The room itself was fine but I had a number of concerns. It was a cool wk which was fine but the heater did not work in the room. The hot water was luke warm. The shower pressure was poor. Outside the balcony was a distant constant annoying scraping. I think it was a security gate. Anyway it never stopped. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the bar. Kate was cute. Did not use the pool but nice place to relax. Ideal location for FrQtr and Bourbon st and Canal St. Glad had a fridge but no micro. Nice they provided 2 bottles of water. Really cool balconies. However I am not sure I would stay there again.

Room had a great balcony overlooking Dauphine Street in the quarter. Nice room, nice bathroom. Hotel is a bit dog-eared but but the room was fine and location was great, and the price on a Sunday was good. The pool had a lot of organic matter floating on it—- insects? Plant debris? It was the only real negative. Staff was friendly. would stay there again.

We ended up not staying at the hotel. When we saw the condition of the hotel and the DUMP of a room, I went back to the desk and told them that I could stay there. They said they would refund my money. The pictures that are on their website are DRASTICALLY different than the actual hotel. The owners of this hotel MUST spend money on fresh paint, new carpet, lightbuilbs in the elevator, etc. This is the first time ever of using Hotels.com where I felt I was deceived.

When we arrived the staff claimed there was no valet parking and told my partner to park at a parking garage two blocks down. They then let another customer in the valet parking when my partner drove down the street while i waited with the luggage. The tow truck driver was sitting near the parking garage, my partner told me, they were towing cars. This was a scam. When I complained to the staff all of a sudden they said my partner could come back and they would find parking. The staff at the desk miscalculated and over charged my debit for incidentals. The staff at the desk said they did not know. We got the wrong room that was originally booked. And then when I asked for a receipt when I left the staff said they did not know how to print one up at the front desk. For the price this was the most negative experience and if you want a trip to new orleans that is positive I would not book this hotel

Parking was easy since it was in the garage. We were not put in the room we booked which was the Superior Carriage House King room and instead were placed in the Premium Hermann House room. They did not tell us we were switched rooms until we asked. The carpet in the room was not clean and the tub jets looked dirty. I was expecting a nicer room for what we paid. The reason for the switch was because it was double booked. I don’t know who booked first but just be aware you may not get the room you want even if it’s showing available. The staff was nice but couldn’t do anything without the manager who wasn’t available when I went to the front desk a few different times. I would think there would be more than one manager but apparently not. We really enjoyed our time in New Orleans and will be back, just not to this hotel.

Our room was gross. The carpet was really old and grimey. The mirrors in the bathroom were in need of repair and or replacement. Ive never seen a shower with a wall of mirrors. Not a fan. The ceiling had rafters that had dust chandeliers, aka dusty cobwebs. The staff were friendly and helpful. But I will be staying back at this hotel. I have had cheaper hotels in better condition. And the breakfast option was severely overpriced and not good at all. Now, the bar and the bartender was excellent.

the hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff are amazing. we had a substantial rainstorm during our visit so we had a leak but honest I can't blame them at all. The staff offered us a new room, we did decline as it was our last night BUT they did give a discount on the room so that was cool. Overall this place was beautiful and would absolutely stay here again. also the bar next door is such a gorgeous low key chill spot

The hotel is older and the rooms show it. We had a nice room with a balcony on the second floor which was great until Friday night. This hotel is one block away from Bourbon street and so it can be loud. We had people on the other end of our floor and the balcony on second floor is all one long balcony. They were very loud on our last night and there was a lot of loud noises like a huge trash container being dropped. The bed was comfortable but pillows weren't. The small pool area was nice. Most of the staff were friendly except the 3rd shift person.

Room was comfortable. Not having a refrigerator or microwave made it difficult to keep leftovers, but it wasn't that big of a hassle. The location of the hotel was outstanding! We were within walking distance of literally everything. The staff at the hotel were really great. We enjoyed our stay here. It is an older hotel, but you just can't top the location.
