Overall very friendly desk staff, but a very under whelming experience for La Quinta. Firstly the parking conditions are a nightmare, there is limited parking spaces and when the spaces are full guests are advised to park on the side of the street, this obviously leaves the vehicle susceptible to accidents from the very narrow street and possible break ins which of the course the hotel waives all responsibility from. Then on top of that the parking spaces are so narrow and cramped that having an suv like we did made it difficult to navigate not to mention figuring how to leave enough space your car doesn’t get door dinged. Check in was smooth and easy but when we got the room the keys did not work. We let the front desk know and he came up to test the door, turns the key pad was broken as his master key did not work on it either. That was concerning to us because it makes you wonder how long ago was the room actually cleaned. We were moved to a different room and though while clean it was very shabby, the furniture was damaged and walls had holes and the floor was clearly not mopped. The breakfast was “continental” with cereal, oats, boiled egg, bagels , and a premade waffle as an option. The only hot option was dry biscuits with watery gravy and soupy box eggs. Overall this place is only sufficient for short over night stays as quality of the property doesn’t support much else.
