Very clean and special cupsule hotel. It would be better if the cupsule be able to block noise such as snoring from other else.

Very organised and efficient, I really enjoyed this style of hostel. The lounge area was very nice and they provided a bag with towels, clothes, slippers and toothbrush/paste which meant I didn’t really need to worry about opening up my luggage. The locker space was clean and big enough to fit all my things. The breakfast options were limited but still enjoyable

Excellent location just a short walk from Nagoya Station and plenty of dining and shopping. Although I am a big fan of 9 hours Capsules sadly this location was a bit too cramped and not as well maintained as other locations. Staff was friendly and helpful however the lounge area on the ground floor isn’t great after the coffee station is closed and the rooftop area is too small and crowded in the evenings. Again, location is really good but not sure I would stay again.

Conveniently located closely to the Nagoya station. Staff seem a bit too focused on the upscale cafe they run (shared with lobby/check-in area) and service can be slow. Facilities are overall in good shape and clean but locker area has very worn out/dirty floors. Capsule is spacious and other guests were respectful.

Overall this pod hotel was great, however the lounge space was smaller than the pictures portrayed and the furniture could use some love. The pods themselves are spacious and comfortable, although the bottom row gets a lot of light coming in from the lighted pathway. Would recommend a face mask and ear plugs for those staying. There is not a ton of room in the locker room to organize your things when you check out. This was great location wise. It would be nice if they had a tap to fill up your water bottle. They do have bottled water for purchase.

One of the nicest pod hotels I stayed in. Each room comes with a sizable locker and a bag filled with, towels, pyjamas, toothbrush, slippers etc. Overall the whole building was very clean and convient with a coffee shop by reception and a 5 minute walk to Nagoya station. Would have liked a proper power socket in the pod as opposed to one standard USB port but there’s actual sockets on the rooftop lounge. It’s not a very social environment for any solo travelers looking for multi-night stays but the peace and quiet is definitely met with comfort.

You have to vacate all floors except the lounge between 10AM and 2PM for cleaning. That was the most inconvenient part of my stay because that meant I couldn't really sleep in, but I guess capsule hotels aren't meant for staycations, so it's really not an issue if you're an early riser. The showers are quite spacious and clean! If someone across from you snores, it'll echo inside your capsule and make it sound like it's coming from directly above. The lady across from me slept with her screen up. She was unwell and her chesty coughs worried me, her snores echoed so I put in my earbuds. The lockers were surprisingly big enough to store my large, fabric luggage with wheels which was able to squeeze in just nice.

Has Potential - Could Easily Be Better

Sleeping capsule is super clean. They provide house slippers but the floor areas are mixed for outside shoes as well. That defeats the purpose. People wearing shoes and slippers into the elevators, locker room, and shower/sink room, and toilet rooms, sleeping capsule room & lounge. So what's the point? Many hostels in Japan has a shoe rack at the front lobby or entrance. Carpets are used throughout the hostel. They should remove the carpets in the shower area and most important, the toilet rooms. There is a urine smell in every one of them. Can't get rid of urine soak carpet smell. Carpet also holds onto humidity, promotes mold. The elevator is very slow. I constantly have to go between sleeping floor, shower\locker floor, & lounge floor. Only 2 toilet rooms on my floor with 26 sleeping pods. If by chance both are occupied, I cannot run to the next floor via the stairs. It's security locked. It looks to be able to be broken thru in case of a fire evacuation. But, they don't want you to use it. SO, if you for what ever reason that you may have a need for urgent access ... old, drunk, medical issues, etc. something to think about.

Once you get the hang of the process its pretty straightforward. You can leave your bags there before check-in. When you do check in you get a keycard for your locker. Separate male and female lifts to take you to separate floors. Lockers and showers on the same floor and lockers big enough for most decent sized cases plus a few extra bags. (if its within limits for shinkansen then it will fit in the locker.). Showers good with shampoo/conditionar/wash provided and a pre-shower cubicle for getting dry and changed. They provide mirrors and hairdryers. You then go to the capsule floors where you cannot make noise. Everyone was respectful and I hardly heard any noise in the night and slept surprisingly well. Pods are reasonably comfy for what they are. They are open at the end with just a blind for privacy and are a decent size so you can move about without feeling restricted at all. A usb chaging port and shelf for your phone. The light has a dimmer. toilets on all pod floors too. The roof terrace was a nice place to chill, although some major damage to some of the sofas which could have done with being replaced.

The capsule bed aspect was fine but i personally wouldnt stay somewhere like this again. My first impression of the hotel was walking into an elevator full of trash, so that wasnt a great start, but the other areas had seemed decently clean and it didnt happen again the next day. Its not the staff or administrations fault, obviously, but its difficult to sleep due to the noise of everyone else around you. Youd think people woild be better about it, but people are wildly loud when getting up. Loud unexplained banging, loudly opening the door to the room and then leaving it open so you can hear them be loud in the bathrooms nearby, alarms not set to vibrate so everyone has to wake up with them. Ive learned that i like being able to access my room/luggage whenever i want, as i found it a little awkward not being able to access my locker during cleaning hours (10am to 2pm). Its totally understandable that it works like this, just something to bare in mind. I think a 1 night stay would be okay as you wouldnt be affected by this. If you snore, do everyone else a favour and stay somewhere else

Okay, but not the best

Stayed for one night because I needed a place to just sleep and this was the cheapest (about 3000 yen). Overall the stay was okay, the capsule room was quiet and I could get a good sleep (personally I loved the thin mattress and firm pillow), the showers had a lot of hair (to be expected with women) but overall were clean and I liked that there was room to change in them, and I liked the separate floor for shower/lockers and capsule (also women have their own elevator, showers and rooms). However, this is a subpar place compared to other capsule hotels I stayed at. Reasons: - the showers only have a little shelf to put your stuff, I wish there was at least a hook or something especially when other guests forget their towels taking up more of the already small space -the space for the lockers is waaay too cramped, particularly considering this is the only place where you can manage your luggage. There is barely space to open a small luggage -Light in the sink area is atrocious, no way to do your make up there and no dedicated area for make up so it gets crowded - I showered in the evening and very early morning, in the evening at 11 PM the showers were full and I had to wait. Can't imagine how it is at peak hours - the capsules have no air conditioning and only a curtain to block noise out. Unclear how to set an alarm without waking up everyone - who puts carpet under a toilet? Ew Overall I'd only stay again if it's for a quick sleep.
