Disappointed by Recommended Hotels – Poor Cleanliness and Service
I’ve always trusted Hotels.com’s recommendations, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have been consistently disappointing. The hotels marked as “recommended” often fall short—especially in terms of cleanliness and basic hospitality.
One recurring issue has been the lack of transparency around hotel management. If Hotels.com provided more insight into who operates the property, it would help travelers make more informed decisions. In my case, several stays managed by certain groups have been particularly problematic, with zero attention to room hygiene, unpleasant odors, and no room service at all.
It would be helpful if Hotels.com allowed users to filter or view hotel management details before booking. That way, we could avoid properties that don’t meet basic standards of cleanliness and service.
