The resort is rustic, but cute. The staff were very friendly. A good price for its location. Some great places to eat within a short walking distance. And the beach was pristine. Clear, calm water and no trash on the beach. The downside is my room needed some repairs. The toilet leaked water on the floor and the room had an ant problem. The mattress was very firm.

Fantastic

An absolutely wonderful stay! The beach/bar/restaurant area is fantastic and I could spend all day there. The staff is also super nice and very helpful, so I felt very welcome. The bungalow is cozy with a very effective aircondition. Only drawbacks were that the wifi did not really reach my bungalow (it was the furthest from the reception/bar), and that the bathroom could use some refurbishment, but these were not big issues, especially considering the price. I already miss this place!

The room is basic but nice for a short stay. The location is nice right next to the beach. Unfortunately we had a problem with ants in our Bungalow. When waking up in the morning there was quite an infestation. When raised to staff that were there they were not very quick to investigate, and when I spoke to who I presume was the manager that day she asked if we’d had food in the bungalow. On check in instructions it stated food was allowed in the bungalow, but not at the beach/restaurant. We had milk and cereal which were unopened and kept in the fridge provided. And noodles the night before, and the containers we washed out and placed in the bin provided. The ants were not contained to a specific area but were EVERYWHERE. I do not blame the staff on that day, as these things do happen, but it was disappointing that it wasn’t acted on with any urgency and, as two younger women travelling, we felt like no one really wanted to listen. It felt like the finger was pointed at us immediately and that it was our fault as ‘the bungalow was cleaned before you check in’. To clarify, there were ants on our arrival to the bungalow, but we have been travelling for 3 months and understand that there are going to be a few critters getting into your room, but not to this extent. I don’t want to slate Isara completely, but we did not have a great experience.

Mein Bungalow ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Badezimmertür und Waschbecken könnte man mal erneuern. Die Einrichtung sporadisch aber ausreichend. Am Strand wahr ich in etwa 30 Metern. Zum Schlafen und zum relaxen am Strand völlig ok. Ich war zufrieden und bin nach einer Woche erholt weiter gereist.

Väldigt bra och prisvärt boende. Vi är supernöjda med vistelsen. Hotellrummet var enkelt men för priset var det allt man behövde och förväntade sig. Baren och restaurangdelen förhöjde lyxkänslan och personalen var fantastisk. Underbar thaimat, bästa maten på Koh Lanta enligt oss. Rekommenderar starkt om man vill betala lite men ändå ha det bra!

Das Personal ist sehr lieb und bemüht um einen. Man konnte sehr entspannt und unkompliziert Roller ausleihen und musste keine Angst haben abgezogen zu werden. Für Backpacker-Standards sind die Bungalows perfekt. Lagetechnisch muss man an die Ebbe denken.

Sjarmerende små hytter som ligger etter hverandre på begge sider av gangveien som fører ned til resepsjon, bar, restaurant og strand. Personalet var veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomme, med alltid et smil på lur. Kan gjerne bor der igjen hvis vi stopper på Koh Lanta. Hyttene var veldig enkle men med topp klimaanlegg og seng som gav en god nattesøvn.

We loved our 3 nights at Isara! The price was excellent and accommodations had what we needed. Staff went above & beyond! Other guests were welcoming and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The beach is gorgeous but you can only swim at high tide which just means you have to plan your swims in advance! We were able to use the pool next door once. Lots of amenities close by (minimart, bank, etc).

Best stop in our 3 week stay in Thailand.

To be honest, I almost didn't book it because it looked too good to be true for that price. It wasn't. A lovely private bungalow, rolling distance from the beach. Perfect spaces to lounge by the beach, where our 7 month old baby could crawl around. Very helpful and flexible staff. Our best stay of all the places we visited in Thailand over 3 weeks. Ps. Don't book through hotels.com. Booking through their own website will save you 100 Baht per night.
