Our room and modern bathroom were both clean, and spacious. The door had a nice, modern lock system, and seemed very safe. The AC unit worked well to keep the room cool, sometimes a bit too cold. The hotel breakfast room was very convenient, although the cooked food needed more butter. The 11am checkout time was not too early.

Amber at the front desk is always helpful and friendly, every time I have checked in to this hotel. My only negative thing to say about the room, is that it had a very strong odor of old, stale cigarette smoke and musty air conditioner. I would definitely suggest cleaning or replacing the filters in the air units on a regular basis.

As far as the hotel, it was excellent. The only issue i had was the railroad tracks are very close to the hotel. It seemed like the train ran every 30 minutes. Luckily I'm a heavy sleeper.

The owner was a bit of tyrant and was just unprofessional. Hotels dirty and sticky throughout - rooms smell like smoke, and to top it off, we even found a cockroach in the bathroom upon arrival. I’d avoid this hotel in Piketon for sure. Stay in Chillicothe due to the limited options.

Hotel and staff were all very good. Room was clean and comfie. I was at the farthest room at the back of floor one and you can still hear the trains that go through. Suggestion for the hotel. Room 117 is listed as handicapped accessible however the shower head is about 6'6" up the wall. Even at 5'10 reaching up to get the shower head down is a pain. If the person was in a wheelchair or had limited mobility there would be no way for them to reach the shower head. Maybe leave it down. Also the side holder on the wall that should hold that shower head lower is the wrong size and the wand doesn't fit. The hooks on the door, one is clear at the top of door and the other at standard height again not conducive to someone in a chair or stooped over with a walker.
