Although the deal was room only, we decided to have our evening meal there, let’s just say the Pirate Inn could not claim to be a gastro pub, to be fair it doesn’t but the food could be far better.

Nice pub with friendly and helpful staff. Room a bit tired but sufficient for a couple of nights. Could do with a breakfast option as dinner was very good.
Well situated for our trip to the Minack Theatre only a short drive away.
Would return.

The cabin was perfect for a one night’s stay. Luckily, we were at a party in town until the early hours because the pub had a band in the garden which was incredibly loud….as was the rain on the roof but hey, can’t really complain about that!
The cabin was clean, the coffee making facilities were good and everything you need was in the space.

Lovely owners and friendly staff. Traditional pub food was lovely and freshly cooked. Sadly no breakfast. Pub itself quiet after closing which was early enough. Clean and comfy bed, convenient location. Place was just rather tired (not sure about the pods maybe nicer?). Pub itself fine for a stopover.

We stayed in very new pods which were lovely, though not quite sure what you would do if the weather was not good as there was limited space.
