Peter at the front desk was fantastic. Very helpful. Pleasant and accommodating. It was a rainy day at Ljubljana when we got there. He went out of his was to give us brand new hotel umbrellas to use while we went out. He also helped with getting breakfast organised for our two days stay as it didn’t feature in my booking even though I had asked for it. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. And a good variety spread too.

Hotel was very comfortable and very clean. Location very good and not far from the centre. Breakfast was excellent with a very large choices. Staff was great especially Peter the receptionist. Will definetly come back again should we revisit Ljubljana in the future.

We did not spend much time in the hotel. The location was good, close to the old town, and it was quiet. Our biggest complaint was that the room was hot during the night which made it hard to sleep.

Pricy compares to their co dition and service

The stink in the hotel room bothered me all days during the stay. Maybe from the carpet that was used in non-smoking days? If I open the window to ventilate, bugs came in(even on the 10th fl); if I complain, nothing can be done. The area also has many construction sites and looks not too safe on one side. Won't go back.

Location is definite plus. The hotel's central location makes it easy to explore the city on foot. While the location is convenient, the hotel's amenities leave something to be desired. The limited number of elevators can lead to long wait times, especially during peak hours. The chaotic and uninformed behaviour of the staff could not be overlooked. This was particularly evident during breakfast, where basic items like cups and forks were frequently missing. There were enough people there, but I had the feeling they were running without a plan. The check-out process was also disorganized, with staff seemingly unaware of the charges associated with the room. While the hotel's location is a strong point, the subpar service and limited amenities make it difficult to recommend.

A very good hotel in all respects. However, when we booked the hotel facilities description was mis leading. The profile stated that breakfast was 'available', and elsewhere is suggested that it cost 15 euro surcharge. On the booking thread there was nowhere to include breakfast. When we checked in, a notice was displaying that ALL rooms are inclusive of breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices. Lifts very busy at breakfast time, as people/tour groups also checking out. Our booking confirmation also gave a 15 euro beverage credit. We enquired at the bar, and the 15 euro could also be credited against food, although not a great variety of options. Main restaurant closed. Hotel in good location, clean spacious rooms, good shower, effective controllable AC, high speed WiFi. Close to railway station.

Great, but come on...

Great hotel, but... I was staying for a night, and during check-in, I asked how parking was in the area. The guy at the front desk who was dealing with my check-in told me only that the parking in the hotel cost €19/day and that I could leave the car up-front. He could've also said that if I moved the car close by, it'd be free because it was a Sunday. I asked how parking was in the area, and not necessarily in the hotel... Or he could've at least offered me to park in the garage to protect the car from sunlight. I'm nit-picking, but given I paid so much for parking after asking this I think it'd be the right thing to ask (what you prefer) if you care about hospitality as much as making money.

Good location and OK for a short stay

Comfortable, but not business traveller friendly. The rooms are 'compact' and don't have a desk or anything where you can sit and use a laptop. There are only slim cupboards for clothes (where the hangars face you when you open the door), one shelf, no drawers and no space for an empty suitcase. Big TV. Beds very comfortable, and rooms well sound proofed. The business centre is two PCs on a table. No printer. The gym is a collection of fitness equipment thrown into a corner on the mezzanine, next to the business centre, on a carpeted floor with no water, extra air conditioning or music system. If you are a Hotels Gold member, you'll have to ask for your benefits - they aren't automatically given. It is reasonably expensive, but so are most in this area. It is well located for the city center. The breakfast buffet is very good, if a little chaotic at busy times.
