I mean, outside is worse

We saw a couple of cockroaches, toilet had urine residue under the seat, and the back door never latched and reeked of damp cigarette. One of the towels appeared to have a couple spots of blood on it. Overall it was not the worst location and if you don’t need amenities, a comfortable bed, updated furniture or aesthetics, or possess the desire to feel clean and rested I’m sure it’s fine for many.

Staff not welcoming/friendly or social Did not get the room I expected (was supposed to get a studio double -two double beds—-did not get that. Room 341 had one double bed. Was not offered any other room or bed accommodations at check in. Was not asked how my stay was at check out either. Sink water drained slow and the shower was so full of water, my ankles were bathing. Overall, disappointed in service and stay. Limited options due to home night football game in Ann Arbor. I would expect a refund of some sort for the room I got wasn’t the room I expected

You get what you paid for.

Checked in late at night. I was greeted promptly. Went to room. The room smelled of cigarettes. The room was a no-smoking room! Too tired to complain. Washed up. Went to bed. Woke up with a sore throat from inhaling the cigarette smell. Went down to complain and to change room. The place was completely filled. 1 room checking out, but not available until later. Packed up all our stuff. put them in our car. Came back that evening, and went to the new room. 100% better. Clean and No smell. The room was a little chilly, but bearable went to turn up the heat, Guess what? No heat! Has A/C and fan but no heat. Went to bed. In the morning went to check out, They asked how was the room? I told them better but the heater was broken. Come to find out that they charged me full price for the stay. Did not offer to compensate us for the stay or discount on future stays. The staff was friendly and understanding.(5 stars). Would stay there again if everything is working properly. It is a good place to stay if you just want a bed and a shower. Don't expect a lot for the price.

DO NOT STAY HERE

could not believe the things that I witnessed going on in this hotel. From not having someone at your front desk during the hours of 11pm sometimes even 10pm to almost 6am. I watched people get locked out of there room at 1 am and not be able to get in. Where things get extremely confusing, when we checked in we were told NO ONE is at the desk during the night but when talking to multiple different employees during the day shift then the person who checked us in. Everyone said someone is always here. If that’s true why was I told differently And why are there guests sleeping in your lobby waiting at the front desk for someone to let them in there room. The thing that really honestly pissed me off was having some house keeper BANG on my door at NINE AM two days in a row to ask if I needed housekeeping. Mind you the first day she knocked once and opened my door. I yelled I’m here and she ran away and didn’t say anything at all. So when it happened the second time she said she was there to see if I needed anything. Coming to today the third day in a row where my door was beat on the day of CHECK OUT, at 9am. I blatantly asked her WHY are you banging on the door she said I’m housekeeping I’m here to see if you need cleaning or if your checking out. When I asked her what time check out was she then said ELEVEN AM.. I will not lie, as it was now the third incident I had I yelled asking her why she was asking me these questions if check out wasn’t until 11am. I still had 2 hour
