Room was dated with some marks on furnishings but overall Vagabond Inn is located in a very good location with plenty of restraunt options and convieniently located within the Historical Route 66 Drive attractions. Staff was friendly .. room wasn’t very clean .. we had a pet room but my grand daughter’s feet were dirty after walking on the floor barefoot . I was staying by myself with my two young grand daughters and only 1 window had a lock on it and no security bar on the door.. I pushed my dog kennel against door to feel extra secure . Breakfast was decent continental and staff were wonderful that I encountered ..

The hotel is a bit dated. The beds and linens were very nice..had a great sleep. The staff very accommodating. My cats were regarded as service animals, as I am totally deaf!!. The room was roomy but could have been a bit cleaner. We would stay again. Great stay for the cost.

I know many of the reviews state that the hotel is rundown. It could definitely use a refresh, but that being said, the rooms and linens were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Cleaning services were provided every other day. The breakfast was decent, although it could use some protein sources. It was a good combination of comfort, service, convenience, and value. I will definitely be keeping this hotel in mind for future stays.
