The guy who checked me is was friendly and accommodating. However, while the room was clean it is in dire need of repairs. I am not a stranger to budget motels but this place was particularly rundown. The comforter is exposed with just one sheet beneath, and the room smelled like a wet dog (I suspect that its the mattress or the comforter). I was only there for one night, and didn't bother asking to move to a different room since I doubt that any of the other ones would be better. If I can recommend improvements to the owners, it would be to invest some money into some basic repairs, even just small things like replacing the rusty shower racks (these could be bought for cheap at Walmart), aging, ripped and deteriorating shower curtains (also cheap at Walmart), and putting an additional sheet over the comforter like most hotels do. Fixing torn wallpaper and adjusting the headboards so they're not a foot above the mattress would make the room look much nicer as it would hide the weird railings that are holding it up the headboard.

The room smelled of smoke, the cupboard door fell off when I opened it, the towels and face cloths were old, thin and barely white. The bathroom door had dark stains all along the edge, where people had held the door. The windows were dirty. I decided not to spend the night and checked out the same day. I did not use the room.

Easy check in and check out, staff was friendly. Nice place to stay in a couple days if you want to go to a nearby beach or boardwalk. Good restaurants around as well nearby.

I honestly would encourage people to stay elsewhere. The towels were dirty and stained, the first room they gave us had a bathroom toilet that had mold in it and clearly had not been used or cleaned in months, and the shower head was detached and inside the tub and the room just had a horrible smell. The second room (given after I showed pictures of the first room) was cleaner and had no smell but the beds were very strange and on top of aluminum sided like stands so when u moved on the bed (I am petite and weigh 130) it made metallic ripple noises. I would never stay here again.
