The parking lot was well-lit and secure; the building was well-maintained for cleanliness. Food in the breakfast bar was sufficient, although I wish there was more selection for dry cereal (raisin bran, corn flakes), but the waffle maker performed well! One issue I had was lack of hot water for the sink for shaving at night; while the tub and shower had sufficient hot water, the faucet at the sink was cold, even after running the water for a good 2-3 minutes. Staff was alerted to this issue. Like many places we visited in Traverse City, the 'pot holes' were usual and customary. The parking lot here was good; construction immediately nearby, although quiet during the night, had its usual noises but other than than, this location served us well.

Families on 3rd floor were creating tiny stampedes across the ceiling. Or maybe it was the girls baseball team? I understand you had the sunset light house tour on the first floor - 89.99% needed to avoid walking long distance or needed disabled accommodations. I should have called and asked for the tiny people to be told to stop running at 10 pm. But i didnt. I was mad at other things and didnt want to take itout out on your kind staff. I will note next time to stay on the 3rd floor. At breakfast, the kitchen server?? , was a delight!! But both batches of eggs had

It was nice they did give me an early check in about an hour early. The room above us we stayed in room 133 so it would have been room 233 or 231 had large dogs and we are animal people but when you allow your dogs to start running around and jumping around the room at 5:00 in the morning call down to the front desk nobody did anything at 7:30 I went up and pounded on the people's door and asked him if they could keep their children or animals quiet why would you not lock your dogs in the bathroom if they're running around rampant at 5:00 in the morning not the way one wants to spend the 7th wedding anniversary

Very clean rooms. The front desk was very accommodating. The pool was very clean and the water was a nice warm temperature. The breakfast bar was delicious too. We will definitely come back.

My partner and I and our two dogs needed a place to stay after a week without power/heat/water from the ice storms up north. This was one of the closest places to us that was pet friendly. It was a cheap option so we didn’t expect much. The service from staff was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was exactly what you’d expect at a hotel, and had everything we needed. Hot food and coffee. Perfect! The property itself was not great. The lobby bathroom had not been cleaned. Our bed sheets had stains all over them, trash was overflowing in the outside garbage cans. The pool/hot tub and gym were out of service. The walls/ceiling were paper thin and we could hear the loudest squeak from the room above us every time they took a step. Not their fault at all, they probably didn’t even realize it, but it made sleeping very difficult. Overall, would not recommend, but if you need a cheap place to stay, it was fine.
