The property is an exceptional example of a gold rush era hotel and is well kept, and in the heart of a rustic gold rush town. I recommend a weekend there to experience the incredible history that NorthernCalifornia has to offer. (Heard the place was delightfully haunted!) I seem to be immune to that sort of stuff though…
