Pool slightly cooler than I'd pick but still fun, and had water squirters and goggles available. Good hot and cold breakfast, plenty of options. When we checked in we were not given instructions on how to run the TV. Granted, we are older and not accustomed to newer methods, but it would have helped to have written instructions rather than calling the front desk for instructions when we arrived back at the hotel at 10:30 p.m. The next morning we tried to prepare a cup a coffee and there were missing parts on the coffee pot and we were unable to fix coffee. Yes, there is coffee in the lobby, but we weren’t keen on getting dressed right away to have a cup of coffee. The property was clean and well taken care. If we ever come back to the area, we would probably consider staying again.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 or 3 times a year for about 8 years now but we won't be going back. First the price goes up alot every year. We paid $191. Way to much for this place. Then housekeeping came knocking on our door at 8am waking us up. We didn't have a do not disturb sign. Then breakfast is served until 10am which we thought was great since we are not morning people. We got there at 9:50 got your basic breakfast item eggs, sausage, waffles nothing fancy. The entire room was full of people only one empty table at 10:10am the breakfast lady tells everyone that they have to leave because she needs to clean the room. We were still eating. Another gentleman said he was going to finish his breakfast and she got an attitude towards him. So we will now give our business to someplace else.

First of all, the river view isn't that great so don't pay the extra money. Other than that it's a nice place. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was fine. The elevator was broken, which wasn't a big deal for us, and she made sure it was okay for us to walk up stairs. There are restaurants nearby, and a convenience store next door with a McDonald's. Overall it was worth the stay.
