The Mountainside Villas were excellent accommodations. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do and see. The staff was helpful and the restaurants had pretty good food. Some of the areas for improvement that I would note are that the restrooms in the pool areas need to be attended to more frequently, there were some attractions that were not available which made other areas that were open much more crowded. (for example, in the adventure park, the climbing wall was not open for children, therefore the other areas had a long wait)

The place was ok for the value I paid, sadly the day we checked in and most the second day we did not have any hot water. Called three different times and they didn't seem very worried about it. Also a lot of plugs did not work and the dryer door was holding on by thought and prayers. The place was nice to get outdoors for a bit but very very pricey if you want to do anything and the campfire grill restaurant was very bland and not worth the outrageous prices. They will also hound you to but timeshare while you are there even if you just booked through a third party and are not looking for something like that. It was a ok stay but will be out last.

Pros- Beautiful view, nice amenities such as jacuzzi anbs sauna) and plenty of space for a family to spread out. Cons- Cleaning could be better (laundry machine still had clumps of used detergent, hair on the floor and furniture) and some appliances are old and not working properly (coffee maker was leaking, microwave was glitching) minimal cookware and kitchen equipment.

Me and my family enjoyed our trip to massanutten. You can tell that the townhomes are outdated compared to the condos that me and my husband stay in when we visit. But it was very comfortable and provided anything and everything that we need. Overall spacious stay with a good price.
