Nice hotel with a fine breakfast

It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. The only drawback was that the sink was very small, which left little room for toiletries. Since the shelf above the sink was damaged and tilted forward, it added to the issue. I did not eat dinner at the hotel (great sushi just a few streets over) but the breakfast was fine.

We were like fish in water in the spacious corner room we got and we loved the view and the neighborhood. The breakfast room is also lovely, lots of windows along a picture perfect street of the old town. Plenty of old world charm and friendly staff.

Cute hotel

In general a really lovely stay in the center of Helsingor and to be honest I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is a small bit dated but this is made up for with the super friendly staff and the excellent breakfast. I really do recommend to get the breakfast as it was an excellent spread and really good value in comparison to others we have experienced. Also our room had the most beautiful view. Would recommend, thank you :)

Small but efficient for a short stay

Very small room which feels even more congested if you go there during a humid heatwave. The breakfast was good so we started off the day well. The sink was halfway in the shower, which takes maybe ten minutes for the warm/hot water to work.

Just a few minutes walk from the train station and ferry, but unable to hear any public transport noise from my room. It’s a charming older hotel providing you the basic needs when travelling. Located in the Old Town. Walking distance to everything. Kronberg Castle is only a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. The walls are thin and the floors creak, but I found it just added to the atmosphere. Felt safe as a solo female traveller. Would recommend it.

Such a nice hotel, very romantic and suitable for the historic city of Elsinore! The room was very small but cozy and clean. I missed a little fridge and perhaps a towel more. But all over a very good experience! Nice service, they played very loud music from the restaurant kitchen one of the nights, but I went down and talked to them and they were very nice and apologized and turned it down.

Søde folk og hyggeligt sted. Døren til værelset sluttede ikke tæt, og da vi var på tur for at fejre vores kærlighed kunne jeg være bekymret for at de øvrige gæster ufrivilligt blev en del af dette. Vi forsøgte som de anstændige mennesker vi nu er at holde lydniveauet lavt, men det er svært når der er 2 cm gab ovenfor og neden for døren ud til gangen.
