The area is a little questionable, but you are in downtown/Hollywood area of LA. The room was clean, as was the hotel. You can tell they have recently fixed up the property. Note that the parking is very tight in the garage below the hotel, and it was easier, having an SUV, to park across the street in their lot. I was directed to and used the Virtual Assisted check in machine, and although he was difficult to hear at times, the process was smooth. I would stay here again.
