It was under renovation, but we had no warning of this. The pool could not be used. The tv did not work, and it took 3 trips to the desk to get the WiFI to work. We were told that there would be a hot breakfast 6:30am to 9:30am. We arrived for breakfast at about 7am. The dinning room was locked and no one was around to ask what the problem was. The desk told us that the key to the dinning room could not be located earlier, but that they had finally found it, and that breakfast would be available soon. We had had it by that time, and left to get breakfast elsewhere. We told the desk attendant, that we thought that a discount should be given for all of the inconvenience, but we only got excuses. No more staying at La Quinta for us. Oh, and the newly renovated room we were in had unfinished switch plates, unattached base boards, flawed painting, and paint tape. Very unprofessional.
