Sonder Smells

It was our family's first visit in Philadelphia so overall, the city is a little questionable in some parts. The location of the Sonder Heid was in a convenient spot to our concert at the Met. The hotel was renovated but it has a heavy industrial feel to it with clean white linens, countertops and modern furniture. The musty smell was ok to handle until all we could smell was sewage. We called the front desk and they couldn't get us into a new room and instead offered us canned air freshener. In telling the front desk at checkout, she simple said she make a note of it.

Came to Philly for spring break and stayed at The Sonder from Saturday to Saturday. Place was great and clean and good accommodations. Heating system did not do a great job keeping the entire place warm but there were planty of covers to make us comfortable. Great location to downtown and walkable to many areas and places to eat. This was our second stay here. We had a great visit. We came for the volleyball tournament at the convention center. We checked in on the app and had no problem getting in the room. The room was clean and had everything we needed to prep meals so we had healthier options other than those provided at the convention center. There is a nice lounge area on the rooftop.
