We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is stunning, impeccably maintained, and truly one of the cleanest resorts we’ve visited. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. This is a family-run resort, and you can feel the pride and care that goes into every detail. The owner is incredibly involved and adds such a personal touch to the experience. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Paul and Adrienne are amazing! Very welcoming. We felt like we were seeing old friends instead of being just a guest like some other places. Their staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and very well done. Our room had everything we needed. Lake George is close by but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle. Plus there is a private beach for the property. Lots of seating so that you can take in the breathtaking views of the lake. We decided that next time we visit we want to stay in one of the adorable-very well done- cabins. We absolutely recommend The Stone Gate Resort for your trip to Lake George.

The resort is beautiful! The rooms we had were super clean and the staff was very friendly! The lake is spectacular and the amenities offered were above and beyond what we expected. They had fire pits, basketball and pickleball courts, and a playground. Wish we were staying longer than a night. Definitely would go back.

Very clean, very family owned resort. The Helluva deli next door is not to be missed! Pool is gorgeous and so clean. You have to walk down a steepish hill to the lake but it’s beautiful and they have a telephone to use if you want a golf cart ride back up. They have a keurig coffee maker and small fridge and microwave. Very close to the downtown, I recommend taking a ferry cruise down there for sure. Lots of fun mini golf courses around. We went to Antonio’s to eat, it was very good with a pleasant staff.

We had a beautiful stay . The only thing I can say if u have to check in late you’re in trouble because the office closes. Luckily my son got there before me and was able to get my and my other sons key to the room . But otherwise it was spotless clean and when I met the staff so kind and courteous .
