Curiocity Cape Town (Green Point) was a terrific place to stay. We stayed in one of the spacious two-bedroom family suites. I was initially a bit worried about staying at a hostel with my family (including kids ages 10 and 13), but it did not have the 20-something hosteler vibe that I remember from backpacking in my youth. While there were a lot of younger travelers staying there, everyone was very friendly and there was no excessive drinking/partying. The folks at the front desk were super professional, friendly, and helpful. The property was well maintained, and the location was great with easy access to a park, the oceanfront, shops, and dining. A relatively easy and safe walk to the waterfront area, too. Loved our stay!

This property is much more than a hostel but an Experience. The staff is exceptional in customer service and willing to help with any travel needs. The rooms are VERY CLEAN which is always a plus for me. They offer yoga and braai nights also. I highly recommend this place.

Quick 1-night stay. I was in a dorm room of 10 beds. The bed was comfortable. It's a pity they don't provide complimentary towels, one has to pay R50 to use a towel. Otherwise a great experience. Very friendly staff.

Comfortable, but cleaning can improve

I stayed at Curiocity with a group for 10 days. It was 12 women split in 2 flats. I believe that if the bathroom was divided (like a space for the toilet, separate from the shower with a sink and mirror also separate), it would be so much better for this type of accommodation. But the biggest issue we had was that nobody came to clean for like 3 or 4 days of our stay, so after a while the bathroom was not in its best shape. Other than that, rooms and bed were comfortable, staff was friendly and the location is really good!
