Architecturally it is out-of-this-world, but what really does this resort proud is the wonderful and attentive staff, beautiful grounds and surroundings, and peaceful, private yet impressive teak-wood heavy villas. We celebrated our honeymoon at the property. The hotel has made every effort to make this moment an unforgettable celebration! If you want to celebrate a special occasion or if you are simply looking for an exotic stay that gives you a perfect taste of the local culture then I highly recommend this establishment! The staff is also extremely professional and friendly. They managed to make our stay even more memorable! We had chosen the villa for our stay, which made it perfectly possible to combine intimacy, comfort and also to take advantage of all the services offered by the hotel.

This is an older Four Seasons and it’s starting to show its age. It’s not as modern and high tech like the other Asian locations like Tokyo Otemachi or Seoul. Still, the old school feeling worked since it’s Bali and not much is new and modern anyway. The service was legendary, classic Four Seasons warmth and hospitality. Plenty of surprises from housekeeping and excellent snacks and treats daily. The beds were comfy although the rooms could use a makeover, they’re feeling a bit outdated. We had a villa with a private pool. Honestly I don’t recommend the private pool because the dipping pools at the gym/spa with varying temperatures (warm, cold, normal) are so amazing and relaxing to use. We spent more time there than our private pool. Lovely people and views overall. Close proximity to the hottest spots without being in the middle of the bustle.

Me robaron dinero de la habitación a pesar de tener mi maleta con candado. Cuando llegue el candado de la maleta estaba abierto así como la misma maleta y me faltaba dinero. Reporte de inmediato y supuestamente hicieron una investigación pero obviamente no encontraron culpables, por algo en el cuarto hay un mensaje que dice que no se hacen responsables por objetos perdidos. Lo único que hizo el gerente del hotel fue regalarnos un masaje en el spa. El hotel en si es muy bonito y tiene vistas hermosas de la selva y el rio, pero ya es algo viejo en cuanto a sus instalaciones, sobretodo en el cuarto, con muebles y pisos algo deteriorados, muchos mosquitos (aunque es entendible porque es la selva), y no cuentan con un sistema de cortinas blackout adecuado, por lo que el valor que se paga por la habitación no lo vale, es demasiado caro y abusan, porque afuera todo es extremamente barato.
