This was a good hotel for us as it was close to the bus station, pubs, restaurants, sights, etc. The hotel felt a bit dated but was clean.

We booked last minute, were surprised by how good it all was... excellent location for Galway town center, right on the plaza. Large rooms, off site parking in structure with a discount.

Really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the bartender (especially Rachel) were phenomenal. My only complaints were the beds were a bit hard and the temp in the rooms were a bit warm. Other than that it was an amazing trip and I would absolutely return!

Loved that the hotel was a 5 min walk from the train station across the park.
You are right in central Galway and all the action.
Our room was in the rear of the hotel so it was dead quiet.
They have a breakfast for 15 Euros but we chose a breakfast place right across the street.
Everything is walkable from the hotel.

Great location in city center. Parking is in Hynes Car Park a 7 minute walk to hotel. Discount given for hotel guests of 10 euros per 24 hours. Lifts were out of service during our visit but the staff was more than accommodating to help transport luggage to rooms if needed.

We liked the property’s location to restaurants, pubs and groceries. It was a bank holiday weekend so it was quite loud . We were woken several times through the next get by loud guest’s conversation in the hallway. The parking is within walking distance but quite a way, in a parking garage which the hotel validates the ticket so we got a discounted rate. Overall, the room served its purpose with a comfortable bed and wonderful shower.

Out of the 3 hotels we stayed at around Eyre Square, my daughter and I agreed that this was our favorite. It’s quite large inside with a restaurant and a bar. Our room was a good size, very clean, and very comfortable. The location is right off the square and just around the corner from Shop Street. Super easy to get around and explore—a perfect central location. It’s close to the bus station, train station and a nice walk to the Aran Island Ferries. We loved it. The restaurant food, was fine, lots of variety, but not my favorite soda bread there. But there are tons of places and pubs right around that area to choose from.

Decent, but unremarkable. Value for money.
This is an OK place to stay. Bed comfortable, room small-ish, some noise, but that's part of the deal if you want to stay in the centre of town. Easy walking distance to most things. Food OK, nowt special, bar service good (which is important). Impossible to park outside, even for a few minutes, without causing an obstruction, and the parking associated with the hotel is a little way to walk. Price reasonable for the location and facilities provided. This is the hotel all the spies stay in if they don't want to get noticed.

The rooms are quite musty so you have to open the window and the carpet in the hallways needs some updating. You can hear the people walking above you, there is a horrible smell of in the elevators for some reason like old perfume, the mattresses were also are very low quality but other than that it’s perfect for a short stay in Dublin! I was impressed with the spacious bathroom and large bathtub. The reception was also very kind and pleasant.

Good but triple check late checkout request
Lovely lady on reception checked us in and the the room was ready about 20 minutes ahead of check-in time and it smelled so fresh and clean and asked to ensure that late checkout was noted .. but unfortunately when booking and paying for late checkout doesn't always go to plan. On last 2 occasions lack of communication has resulted in either calls from reception or knocks on door from house keeping..this needs to improve...

Great hotel, Maps & directions need updating
Overall, the stay was great. The staff were helpful, communicative, and friendly. The rates were reasonable. The location was the best thing about this hotel. Visiting during the Christmas holidays, the parking was a major issue. We knew to expect off-site parking, but the directions to the parking were nonexistent on the website and Google Maps (and Apple Maps) led us down a wrong turn, then a closed street, and then to a parking site that was triple the cost and at least triple the distance from the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and encouraged us to a closer, cheaper location but the trouble we had navigating to the parking made us want to leave the car where it was for our stay. Water pressure was low, and the noise level was high, but those were the few issues we had. The breakfast was wonderful, and our overall experience was positive.
