We stayed for 2 nights as a family of four. Hotel: It is an old hotel and the carpet has seen better days. If you use the sofa bed for kids you have very limited room for luggage. BUT, the service was excellent, the amenities was good, the bed nice. I really liked the hotel overall.

Perfect stay in a Perfect Place

The staff was professional and very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near the Christmas markets and in a beautiful area, the hotel couldn’t have been a better choice for us. We also loved that they have their own little Christmas market right outside the doors. Décor is lovely. We particularly loved the large stork mobile hanging in the lobby!

Room was very comfortable and hotel well located. Food in hotel restaurant (both buffet breakfast and dinner) was excellent as was the service. The only thing that should be changed is the carpeting in the room — it was looking its age and should be replaced with flooring that is easier to clean.

This is a wonderful hotel! This was our second time staying at this property. The staff is exceptional! Staff were nice and housekeeping was great (very clean), this review is about the condition of the hotel. The hotel definitely doesn’t feel like ‘5 stars’; dated & run down, musty/damp room smell that doesn’t go away, a lot of ambient HVAC background noise. Won’t be booking Sofitel by default again for a while.
