Reception should let us know when the concierge is away from the desk and how long they will be away. Instead of hiding behind the pillar and letting us stand there on a Saturday evening until we finally had to ask where the concierge was. We ended up leaving and looked for a restaurant ourselves. We just wanted advice as to where to go for something easy with no reservation. We found a lovely soufflé place..: on our own!

Wonderful stay and can’t wait to return!

Gorgeous suite and what a lovely surprise being the guests of the day! Warm and inviting staff that were incredible helpful with checking, concierge and a fantastic at the door helpful with bags and getting us a taxi! The shower was a terrific experience and my husband wants to buy the bed mattress for us because it was so comfortable. Looking forward to many returns.

I loved my stay at Sofitel, the staffs are the warmest and super helpful. Room is so clean and they changed sheets for us everyday. Tbh I haven’t experienced this good service for a long time in the US, this almost felt a little unreal. However, I have to point out that the breakfast is quite disappointing. It is said until 11am but 10:15am they already took away everything. And the salad was all rotten veggies in my bowl…..the breakfast is so expensive, highly recommend eating outside.

I stayed in Sofitel Faubourg on April 16 and 17 only 2 days. I booked the hotel stay thru Expedia. I booked Luxury Room king size but when I arrive the hotel I was told that expedia's web page is wrong and Actually my room is queen size and not luxury. I was told that the check in time at 3:00 Pm and I had to wait till then. We came back to hotel around 2:45 to see if the room is ready and I was told that there is a room available ( receptionist made a comment: even though it is not 3:00 PM but the room ready.. it was 2:45PM ) at first floor looking over courtyard and the half size of the original room that I booked. After traveling 7 hours flight and running around the city all day all I wanted to do is take a shower and we said it is fine. 2 days before I arrive the hotel I send an email to concierge saying that I am not familiar with Paris and if they can help me to book restaurant reservation for 2 nights. When I arrive concierge did not even do anything with booking. I was told by concierge he has more important things to do and he said he will try to book at that day. Evening concierge was left the hotel and no one called or follow up. Hotel situated very close to central area but located in the same street with US Embassy. Be prepared to be stopped by security every single time you try to go in.

a physically tiny space for a regular room. you are paying strictly for location, which is right in the Shopping District. a tiny closet where the few provided hangers dont even fit front-to-back. the mini fridge offers no space for your own items. We had an awkward bathroom with no shower doors / glass / separation - just a shower head in the corner of your bathroom. Always booked to max capacity so no ability to change rooms. Just sort of uncomfortable for what you're paying
