We initially found the room clean and the location convenient and interations before we arrived were good, but the impression of the hotel was ruined by the night staff. At 0100 at night, loud vibrations with a humming sound began to shake the entire room. Calling the night staff, they initially said they couldnt hear it (which should be impossible) and then diagnosed it as the aircon. The staff simply said we should do without the aircon which would be uncomfortable as the room is quite stuffy. It was also unclear how we could shut off the aircon without shutting off all the electric as it is all connected to the access card slot. The staff visibly had no interest in helping us at all and was quite rude, remembering it is impossible for us to sleep. The sound stopped and started again around 0600-0700. We called the front desk again and a new staff member quickly said they heard the sound and arranged for us to stay in another room until we checked out. Our impression of the hotel would have been fine if this offer had been made at 0100 considering it was extremely obviously there was a noise with the whole room was vibrating. As it is, it is obvious there are good staff there but if you have any problem at night you are very screwed. Other than that, the breakfast was basic but fine (bread like rocks but heated up ok) and there is a strange situation where there is a light under the bedside table which we couldnt find any way to turn off. We hope the hotel can improve.
