The food was fantastic. The staff were polite. However, the room was down 3 flights if stairs and several corridors, even the room itself wasn't on one level, please don't go if you struggle walking. My guest arrived before me to check in and had to report the main door to the room and a window wouldn't close, these were rectified, which was a good job when at half past midnight a gentleman speaking loudly in German tried to get into my room. The resident access to the pool was blocked meaning I had to go all the way to reception, to the be told to walk round the outside of the hotel to the very back. My room had paint missing round a light fitting on the ceiling, stained grouting in the bathroom, no plugs near the beds and peeling wallpaper. All in all a disappointment.

Hotel website Description and pictures does not match up with the experience. We booked a Superior room and ended up in a shabby quiet dirty room with cracked wallpaper stained walls and furnitures clearly visible dust on panels and bedside tables. No interior decoration besides an outdated bed panel Poorly painted walls and ceiling mould in the bathroom dirty carpet and so on. Only good thing about the room was the bed. It looked quite new and was comfortable to sleep in.

Seems to be a struggling hotel. Double bed was two singles pushed together. and not comfortable Heater in bathroom and hall were permanently on despite hot weather. General decor is tired and reception staff not very engaging although they send too many messages through Expedia. The fire alarm going off repeatedly after midnight was not good. The restaurant was entirely respectable with good service and decent food. Not that busy even in July. The gym and pool are good too.

We had a lovely stay overall. The location is perfect, with plenty of parking available, making it very convenient. Our room was spacious, the mattress was extremely comfortable, and the shower had fantastic water pressure. The leisure facilities were excellent too. The swimming pool and gym are included with your stay and were both well maintained and a great bonus. The only downside to the room was that it was unbearably hot. The heating kept coming on even though it was switched off, which made the room very uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The dinner was outstanding, with excellent quality food, although the prices are definitely on the expensive side. Breakfast, however, didn't feel worth the price. Unfortunately, as it's the only nearby option, there isn't much choice if you want breakfast without travelling elsewhere. Overall, despite a few negatives, we had a great stay and would happily return.

The food was lovely. Mac and cheese meal was well presented as was the burger and fries. The beef burger was very good quality. These items were ordered from the children’s menu. Portion sizes were very generous. The breakfast choices were good too. Small cafe shops nearby for alternative breakfast fare as well as a local supermarket. Car parking is very good.
