I really enjoyed my stay at Luxstone apartments. A good location near the centre of La Paz. I recommend Luxstone and I would book again for sure.

I was so shocked to see such high ratings for this property online. I am a backpacker, i sleep in questionable places, but this one had me stumped. It was so bad we checked out after the first night. The only positive thing i have to say about this place is that the girl on the front desk was genuinely sorry to hear that we had a bad experience and wanted to leave early. The reception staff were lovely and kind. The rooms are extremely tiny, you can barely walk around the room with 2 people in it. They only gave us one towel for a reservation of 2 people. Black hairs all over the bathroom floor and walls. Yellow stains on the bed sheets. The fan in the bathroom does not work. There are black liquid marks all over the walls like someone has thrown a drink on it. The floors are dirty and dusty in all corners of the room there are little piles of dust. Breakfast is very bad and there are no healthy options. they offer no protein options at all, except they can cook 1 egg per person which you must pay a high price for. We were kept up all night by a group who were partying, screaming, slamming doors and playing music in the room next to us. There is absolutely ZERO sound proofing in this building, you can hear everything from your neighbours. I had ear plugs in and still could not sleep through the noise. It felt like they were in our room with us. There are nightclubs surrounding the area so everyone here is just partying on the weekends. I do not recommend this property.
